This was a beautiful experience, I had so much fun being on the edge of my seat in so many situations.
I really want this game to be fully fleshed out, I'm buying it 100% and telling all my friends that they should buy it too.

I'll point out what I'd like changed or expanded on but they're probably already obvious to the creators since it was made in such a short amount of time.
Class balance is pretty wanting, healers are amazing obviously.
I want more ways to sway the people in town, like maybe setting a "demeanor" toward individual characters (if the old man is strict with someone, maybe they'll be more likely to buy x y z type of items, or try to party up in certain ways, stuff like that)
MORE CLASSES, WHOOOO, MORE BUILDINGS AS WELL.
Maybe some customization/personalization in the town as well... like, unlocking a certain building locks you out of unlocking certain other buildings, so you could have different playthroughs that have variance.

there was more I was going to add but I forgot it on the spot, I love the devs and I desperately want a full release.

Watching one of my original heroes beat the final level even after their mage had fled was definitely the most emotionally invested I've ever been in a 30-minute game. What a banger, 10/10. I wonder if the game would be more or less exciting if the player got to decide when the party fled between battles or something like that. Not sure, regardless this was great!

seeing adventurers get rich and die is an experience. if they all be a little bit more chicken, they can live a long life.

got a 4-person party once. not sure how that works. Kick does not work.

i forgot the game name, and tried to look it up on the pause screen; there is none

the game can probably be played with mouse only

other than that, not sure how this game got so polished. good!

This was a lot of fun twist on the dungeon experience. I've always wondered what it would be like to be the wise old man

What a gorgeous fun game! Great job!

Short, but a lot of fun, and I loved the presentation - The squash and stretch anims for the characters were very charming!

Really enjoyed the game, would definitely buy this if it was filled out (more levels to fight, more buildings with more upgrades and especially more control over who goes into the labyrinth, and at which level). I would really like a party select screen which just lets you pick and choose who does what, or just if heroes didn't stack on top of each other when 5 heroes are going together.

Really enjoyed the game and would love to see it developed further, especially if it had a full release on steam.

Had a lot of fun with this! I wanted to save so I could come back later.

(+1)

If you're playing the post jam version, it saves automatically after the end of each dungeon run. Check to see, there may be a "continue" button when you start the game again :)

(+3)

Very good! Diablo I forever)

I was a bit confused at the beginning. A proper tutorial would be appreciated... Also, interactive elements could be more visible. That was my only objection. The game itself was fun. Incredible what you have done in 3 days!

(+2)

awesome game, wish there were more upgrades like tavern for more hp, and something for magic. loved it, stashed 1k gold, great music too :)

(+3)

This is so very fun I was a bit hypnotized,

I do think it needs a bit more interaction, maybe add more mechanics in the village, maybe talk to people buff them yourself, idk if you'd still developing in this,

It is pretty fun as it is though,

Congratulations ! The game is very nice. I love the graphism and the pixel art !

Please Linux download

Yesmm, it's a shame that people don't bother exporting to a platform, even though the process is simple.

Game not loading. Firefox.

still waiting on run dependencies: index.js:13811:18

dependency: loading-workers index.js:13811:18

(end of list) index.js:13811:18

Sadly Firefox does not support the way our engine handles browser games. It works in chrome though, or you can just download the game.

Extremely cool game, I'd love to see a premium expanded version.

This definitely needs more. You're on to something here.

This is beautiful!

Best. Game. Ever!
Loved how they talk to each other! I would love to see if you can keep upgrading and expanding.

(+2)

Loved it!

im super picky about videogames, so I really mean it when I say this game is a delight. the animation, aesthetic, and gameplay are amazing. I would like to see more expansion on the areas explored, more ways to upgrade besides just letting the heroes buy items, more interactivity during battles, and a guide on what each metric is. looking forward to more updates!

Very charming project!

THIS GAME IS AWSOME

the 3x walk speed is a little buggy tho

(+2)

i already love the game just because i can go outside the gate lol

(+2)

it's very addictive

(+2)

Very cool game! I just beat it!

(+5)

This game is just amazing! Any chance that there will be further development? Apologize if you already replied and I did not spot it.

(+3)

very addictive, the visuals are delicious and pleasant, BOTH - the animation and the style

(+4)

Nice.

I'd love to see this taken much further, with a town-builder that goes much further.  Assembling parties needs just a tiny bit of UX love, though; it's really hard to see who is in what party and not enough feedback for why some parties can have 5 adventurers while others will go with only 2, even if there's another three adventurers wandering around town.

But a really nice 72-hour jam game, would love to see more.

Game is absolutely amazing and I hope you keep developing it!

However, I got hopelessly stuck in a situation where only a tank remained against two skeleton healers. The tank wasn't dealing enough damage, the healers weren't attacking but just healing eachother, and as result I had to just close out of the game after waiting for half an hour :(

Would be nice if enemies(or just enemy casters) had some sort of a limited/regenerating resource like mana to prevent such situations. Or a flee button. Or an auto-flee system where if nothing changes, the heroes flee. Or enemy reinforcements after a certain number of turns has elapsed. Many solutions and ideas, but I'm sure you can come up with something.

Anyways, just like I said - great little game! Thank you for making an evening of mine so joyful :)

(+1)

Yeah, just having a single high-level mender left can soft-lock the game in a fight that will never end, too.  When there's only a mender left, they won't fight, so they should just auto-flee.

Ran into this as well. Was fun until I got stuck, but I had already beat it at that point.

Cracking game and so much potential to grow and develop further!

(+2)

Absolutely FANTASTIC!
Please flesh it out and release on Steam!
This genre has been long forgotten - since Majesty, afaik.

(+3)

Came here after hearing about the game on Pillowfort. You have the bones of a neat little game here, the gameplay loop is kind of addicting.  Didn't realize you could swap units around lol. RIP Deimrhea.

Would love to see this developed further!

This was such a fun game! Kind of reminds me of Darkest Dungeon where you upgrade your shops & choose you fighters to explore dungeons. I liked having three different groups fighting at the same time, that was unique. Swapping & Kicking heroes from a groups was a pain though. Other than that I enjoyed this! Not sure if this will get anymore content but if it does I will definitely play again! Good game!

Thanks for playing and the cool video!

No problem at all! Your game was fun to play!
