really good, finished the game. would really love to have a little influence about how teams up with whom. and maybe give the tavern a few upgrades to do something.
other than that, unbelievable what you archived in just 72 hours.
i got one character that was crazy , he is an archer , inventory uses ring of regeneration (also smth else i forgot) and never flee, its more op when he is solo because every turn he hits its dealing high damage, solo the boss with just few health left and won it , its been a few months ive been this excited from a game
If one day you want to deepen this game, I strongly recommend you to try "majesty - the fantasy kingdom sim" (1 or 2, which are quite differents) which give good idea about the economics on invest & return mechanics with heroes and monsters.
PS loved the sauna area and the fact that the mayor deckard cain could climb the stairs of the tavern
Wow I played this more times than I would like to admit. Great work, this is fun, cute, and laid back enough to keep playing on another screen. It sets a great vibe, the sound/music/visual direction is all really cohesive for a pleasant experience where everything fits. Inspiring work!
There is a bug with the skeletons where basically you got 3 skeletons and a flying one, but like the 3 in the front have their sprites kinda rotate to the left as to die, then rotate backwards up. Each of them does this from left to right. This makes leaving dungeon impossible and softlocks the game (might be related but i got only Voky standing with the skeletons, and on the bottom Voky is like fourth character and slain)
sooo, uhhh I kept sounding the horn but folks just wouldn't join, they would remain jumping in place at the entrance. I had all buildsing maxxed and 2 heroes only both rank S: Ih and Forearl and I got completely stuck on the third wave of skellies
I've wanted something like this for a long time. A little party manager without much micromanagement. Having less control over how things play out and just being about forming them up before they head out.
To finally be able to scratch that itch. And coming out of a game jam no less.
Loved the game, still do, one issue- sometimes when a teammate died one person just wont give up and will keep fighting to avenge the death. NOW, there is no problem with that. . . Unless its the healer who doesn't do damage and keeps healing herself and wont die....Ive been stuck for 5 minutes....
This was a beautiful experience, I had so much fun being on the edge of my seat in so many situations. I really want this game to be fully fleshed out, I'm buying it 100% and telling all my friends that they should buy it too.
I'll point out what I'd like changed or expanded on but they're probably already obvious to the creators since it was made in such a short amount of time. Class balance is pretty wanting, healers are amazing obviously. I want more ways to sway the people in town, like maybe setting a "demeanor" toward individual characters (if the old man is strict with someone, maybe they'll be more likely to buy x y z type of items, or try to party up in certain ways, stuff like that) MORE CLASSES, WHOOOO, MORE BUILDINGS AS WELL. Maybe some customization/personalization in the town as well... like, unlocking a certain building locks you out of unlocking certain other buildings, so you could have different playthroughs that have variance.
there was more I was going to add but I forgot it on the spot, I love the devs and I desperately want a full release.
Watching one of my original heroes beat the final level even after their mage had fled was definitely the most emotionally invested I've ever been in a 30-minute game. What a banger, 10/10. I wonder if the game would be more or less exciting if the player got to decide when the party fled between battles or something like that. Not sure, regardless this was great!
Really enjoyed the game, would definitely buy this if it was filled out (more levels to fight, more buildings with more upgrades and especially more control over who goes into the labyrinth, and at which level). I would really like a party select screen which just lets you pick and choose who does what, or just if heroes didn't stack on top of each other when 5 heroes are going together.
Really enjoyed the game and would love to see it developed further, especially if it had a full release on steam.
If you're playing the post jam version, it saves automatically after the end of each dungeon run. Check to see, there may be a "continue" button when you start the game again :)

great accomplishment!
When I run game on Linux / FireFox I do not see mouse pointer when it hovers the game area. Is it a known bug?
u are very cool and very cool game very cool <3
no need to rub it in.
love it. like a fast-paced darkest dungeon. crazy polished for 72 hours.
in case anybody else needs to hear this track after this like me, I'll just leave this here

I recognize that loader. Was this made in Godot?? Holy crap
Edit: this is insanely ambitious for 72 hours. nice work!
So cool... I will wait for more updates

I love it.
Making games and dungeon crawling.
Self-reflexive.
brilliant. loved the atmosphere. lovely fusion of idle, rpg and dungeon crawler. would be nice to see more of that.
when there is only a range unit left, the health indicator is misaligned.
Great game! You have done such a great job with it!
Absolutely delightful experience, I’d happily play an expanded version, and I got madly attached to my mad boy Thethen.
here's our coverage on overage-gaming.com - can't wait to play a bigger version of it!
its been ten years I've gathered 2000 gold

A really good game, but I experienced a few bugs at the beginning and some short lags. However, they didn't disturb me much while playing.

You need to click them and "Hire"
oh man, i didn't realize that i could
It's in an early tutorial pop-up, but easily missed. Thanks for letting us know!
I wish that this were a full-sized game. I would definitely pay for a dark low-fantasy town manager with a hero system like this or Majesty.
This was awesome. Would love to see it expanding out to a full sized game. Loved, LOVED the art. Ya'll rock!

Well made. Huge props to the team behind it.
Very cool!!!
please add full control with the mouse so that mobile people can also play this wonder

seeing adventurers get rich and die is an experience. if they all be a little bit more chicken, they can live a long life.
got a 4-person party once. not sure how that works. Kick does not work.
i forgot the game name, and tried to look it up on the pause screen; there is none
the game can probably be played with mouse only
other than that, not sure how this game got so polished. good!
Tristram Programmistram XDDD
Sorry, that littlt rus joke...;)

What a really cool little game. Really liked it! :)
This was a lot of fun twist on the dungeon experience. I've always wondered what it would be like to be the wise old man

What a gorgeous fun game! Great job!
Short, but a lot of fun, and I loved the presentation - The squash and stretch anims for the characters were very charming!

Had a lot of fun with this! I wanted to save so I could come back later.
